OUR RIDER COACHES

 

Brooke Lefkow – Began riding when in college and has ridden on and off since then. He has an advanced degree in Healthcare Administration, has retired from a number of careers and is currently teaching Business Technology in the Collier County Public School system. 

Brooke has worked with Naples Motorcycle Riding School since 2001 as a Basic Rider Coach, Experienced Rider Coach, Waiver License examiner and as of December, 2005 is the owner of the school.  It is the goal of the school to train and license all who are interested while increasing their safety on motorcycles. In doing this Brooke and the other rider coaches strive to make the experience enjoyable and relaxing and effective.

 

Ron Kerlin - Is a retiree from Indiana and has been riding since 1959. He has worked with Naples Motorcycle Riding School since 2001.  His teaching experience includes 100s of Basic Rider classes and numerous Experienced Rider and Scooter classes. He has 47 years of accident free motorcycling experience.

Additionally he is a retired USAF Instructor Pilot, Corporate & Airline pilot, Gold Seal Flight Instructor and holds a MS in Education, Biology & Chemistry and has a High School teacher background.

BJ Strass - brings us his 35 years of riding experience.  BJ has considerable long-distance touring, as well as daily commuting, experience. In the year 2000 BJ switched from large touring motorcycles to the new breed of touring scooters and since has ridden from Florida to Maine and back, California to Florida and many other tours.  His enthusiasm for scooters is such he introduced Scooter Rider Magazine in 2003 and is currently the publisher and editor (www.ScooterRiderMagazine.com).

BJ also carries a great passion for riding safety and has always considered rider training a prime need for new and experienced riders alike.  BJ joined the staff at Naples Motorcycle Riding School in 2005.

 

Dan Andrews - Has lived in the Ft. Myers/Cape Coral area for over forty years.

His riding experience spans continuously for thirty-four years.  He was a motor officer with the Lee Co. Sheriff's for five years and is currently working part time with Lee County's motor unit.  As of 2006 he had over 600 thousand miles on motorcycle.

He has been a Ridercoach since the beginning of 2005 and in that time has worked with over forty classes.
